Beauty platform to double Leeds salon roster following 300% year on year growth
Treatwell, the largest beauty booking platform in Europe, has revealed plans to expand its operations across Leeds after forming a new sales and liaison team within the city.
Established in 2008, the website and app connects local salons and spas with customers online, allowing users to find the best venues, compare prices and book appointments online anytime, anywhere. The platform aims to boost its operations in the city by doubling the number of salons and spas on its Leeds roster.
Treatwell currently works with over 300 local salons and spas in the city, including established names like Allertons, RMUK and the Health Club at Mercure Leeds Parkway Hotel.
Lopo Champalimaud, CEO and founder, said: “We work with 15,000 salons and spas across the UK and Leeds is our third largest marketplace across the entire country, following London and Manchester.
“We’ve seen 300% growth in Leeds year on year, and combining that with the variety of investment being poured into the region, it’s an extremely exciting time to do business here.
“Our website and app allows customers to easily book their favourite treatments at a time and price that suits them, while becoming a Treatwell partner helps position you where your customers are – online.”
Businesses signed up to the service receive access to Treatwell Connect, the bespoke salon management software which allows owners to easily take bookings online, manage their calendar remotely and apply smart discounting to maximise revenue for off-peak slots.
Nicholas Nicola, owner of Allertons, said: “We started using Treatwell about 2 months after opening, and saw immediate results.
“These grew and grew as the months went by and now Treatwell is an indispensable partner.”
