Pets at Home Group Plc, the Cheshire-based pet food and accessories retailer, saw revenues increase across all arms of its UK-wide business in the 2015/16 financial year.
During the 52 weeks to March 24 the firm’s overall revenue rose to £777.8m, an increase of 6.7% when compared to the same period the year previous, while revenue from merchandise sales rose by 4.6% to £696.5m.

Now, the Wilmslow-headquartered firm is expecting its pre-tax profits for the period to fall between £93m and £97m.
Over the course of the 12 months to March, Pets at Home expanded its footprint across the UK with 27 new stores, 50 vet practices and 60 grooming salons.
Ian Kellett, the company’s CEO, said: “With Group like-for-like revenue growth of 3.2% in the final quarter, we are pleased with the continued positive sales momentum in our Merchandise business and have seen excellent performance in both our vet practices and grooming salons.
“Our highly trained colleagues are fundamental to achieving these results and I would like to extend my thanks for their dedication and support throughout the year.”
