Newcastle’s Executive Compass celebrating London Underground tender success
Bid writing company Executive Compass are celebrating another success after helping a London-based company seal a lucrative refurbishment contract for the London Underground.
The firm’s bid and pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) services played a key role in the unnamed, medium-sized business’ sealing the £600,000 refurbishment contract for a station on the Underground network.
Working over a three-week span, Executive provided its range of bid management and bid writing services to the company from its new Hoults Yard base, drawing on its ‘home grown expertise’ and ‘tried and trusted processes’.
Matthew Walker, who played a key role in the bid, explains how the firm’s methodology helped seal this latest success from its tender team.
He said: “We like to get to know our clients business and how they operate. It’s essential that we use every bit of positive information we can in the process. In this case, the client had no intranet or bid management software in place allowing us to use or own procedures to great effect.
“Secondly, they had no existing experience of bidding for large contracts. We were able to guide them down the right track too and give them the benefit of our expertise and experience.”
Executive Compass’ team also provided bid writing workshops, along with design and branding assistance, which Kevin believes went a long way to showing ‘the capabilities of the company in the best possible light’.
He added: “We are delighted that they saw the light at the end of the tunnel thanks to our work.”
