Six-figure loan enables John Hudson Trailers to undergo extensive office revamp
Family-owned and operated John Hudson Trailers has completed a significant refurbishment of its main office in Bawtry, South Yorkshire, with support from NatWest.
Established in 1959, John Hudson Trailers specialises in hire, sale and service of HGV commercial specialised trailers.
Services include short and long term hire trailers, HGV DVSA testing, breakdown assistance, spares, test preparation, tachograph calibration and brake analysis for trucks, trailers, buses and other public service vehicles.
The companyâs recent revamp included the creation of a single new entrance way, a reception area, and an open office space for customers and staff. John Hudson Trailers has been based at the site in Bawtry since its opening.
John Hudson Trailers has a fleet of 500 trailers for hire which can also be purchased and workshop on site. The fleet includes large hire trailers which are capable of transporting larger items such as parts for wind turbines.
Graham Robbins, one of four directors at the company, said: âThe new office is a big step forward for us as part of our commitment to delivering for our customers. We are able to communicate more effectively so customersâ queries can be dealt with more quickly.“
A total of 48 people are employed in the business, including the companyâs new operations manager Joe Clarke.
Graham continued: âOur hiring of Joe has also been a benefit as he manages our premises so we can work more efficiently.“
To secure funding for the refurbishment, the management team at John Hudson Trailers turned to NatWest relationship director Martin Gorman for support. Martin obtained a six-figure loan to facilitate the project.
Graham added: âWe moved our banking facilities to NatWest in 2008 and the bank has always been very good to work with, especially during the recession. The team has provided us with flexible funding solutions that support our business goals.“
Martin concluded: âI was delighted to support John Hudson Trailers with funding facilities for the office refurbishment project which will assist the business in achieving its long-term business aspirations. We wish the team at John Hudson every success for the future.“
