Leading employee services provider, Personal Group appoints Limelight

Personal Group, the leading employee services and benefits provider, has appointed Limelight, the independent B2B PR and communications specialist, to manage its ongoing media profile.

Limelight has worked closely with Personal Group over the last two months to strategically plan the launch of its new identity, centred around a ‘work happy’ theme. The concept stems from Personal Group’s belief that if people are happy, they are more productive at work. As such, benefits should be clearly explained through personal face-to-face interaction and be accessible through technology.

Last year, Personal Group spoke to 150,000 of its clients’ employees face-to-face in order to communicate their workplace benefits to drive better engagement with their employer. This unique approach to employee services will form the basis of Limelight’s communications plans.

In addition, the agreement sees Limelight implementing a programme of detailed thought leadership, as well as looking at the importance of technology and how it can be used to communicate with staff members, following Personal Group’s acquisition of Shebang Technologies, which has since been renamed to PG Mobile. Limelight is also tasked with continuing to raise the profile of Hapi, Personal Group’s bespoke app for delivering employee benefits.

Limelight was appointed following a competitive pitch for its creative approach to media relations and understanding of the market place and the appointment highlights a key move for the agency as it continues to build on its credentials in the business services sector.
