Huddersfield Town sign one-year extension to Thornton + Ross partnership
Thornton + Ross, the Huddersfield-based pharmaceutical manufacturer, has extended its commercial partnership of Huddersfield Town for another year in the 2016/17 season.
As part of the commercial agreement, the logo of its muscular ache and pain relief brand Radian B will appear on the First Team’s second strip once again in the upcoming campaign.
The deal will also see Thornton + Ross’ Covonia brand reappear on the front of the Club’s new third strip during 2016/17.
This will be an eighth year of support from Thornton + Ross, which initially became a partner of Huddersfield Town in March 2009.
The company’s support of the Club extended to the First Team’s away shirts at the beginning of Dean Hoyle’s tenure as chairman later that year.
Thornton + Ross employs, which currently employs over 550 people, is the largest OTC liquid and cream manufacturer in the UK.
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis and Senior Commercial Manager Tracy Nelson visited Thornton + Ross’ premises in Linthwaite to meet Director of Consumer Marketing John Chamberlin to mark the extended deal; they are pictured above.
