Queensway Dental Clinic opens new premises following sustained demand
Teesside-based Queensway Dental Clinic has opened a new surgery and dental laboratory space to cater for increased demand from patients throughout the region and beyond.
The additional premises at Billingham Town Centre, owned and managed by UK regeneration firm St. Modwen, means the business now boasts a 100-strong team with 22 surgeries, a specialist oral surgery and orthodontic service.
Paul Averley, Managing Partner at Queensway Dental Clinic, said: “We first decided to invest in Billingham Town Centre 22 years ago and we haven’t looked back since.
“As our business has grown, so has our need for space, and St. Modwen has been able to accommodate our demands.
“In addition, many of our employees are based in the surrounding area and we have been lucky that we have been able to expand our services whilst keeping our business together in our original home.”
Richard Elliott, Managing Director of Queensway Dental Laboratory, added: “The creation of the clinical dental laboratory has given our team a bespoke area to work from when managing complex dental cases for patients at Queensway.
“Key members of our laboratory are now able to go on to complete additional training to facilitate the range of services we are able to offer from this space.”
Rob Richardson, Asset and Development Manager at St. Modwen, said: “Queensway Dental Clinic is an important asset to Billingham Town Centre and not only does it employ a highly skilled team but it draws more than 150,000 people to the town from across the region and country each year.
“We are thrilled that we have been able to accommodate their further expansion and look forward to working with their team to maintain their growth plans. We are committed to further investment in the Town Centre to create a vibrant place to shop, relax and live, but this particular success story is testament to how a local business can thrive in the right location.”
