Health and safety risk management group targets further growth with new Rotherham office opening

Lucion Services, the national health and safety risk management group, is to expand further with the opening of a new office in South Yorkshire.

Headquartered in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, with offices around the UK, Lucion provides a full range of health and safety risk management services, including expert advice and support with identifying and managing asbestos.

The new office in Hellaby, Rotherham, will house a team of 16 including surveyors, analysts and support staff.

The new office will also serve as a base for new staff who joined the company following its acquisition of asbestos and environmental consultancy, Redhills, in July this year.

Ross Perratt, regional manager at Lucion, said: “We’re experiencing huge demand for our services from local authorities and a range of companies from the construction, education and infrastructure sectors.

“To make sure we can meet this demand and continue to deliver a high level of service across Yorkshire, we needed a much larger office space.

“The new office will allow us to work more efficiently as a team while providing meeting space and a venue to host training sessions for both staff and customers.”

Launched in 2002, Lucion has grown across Yorkshire since acquiring asbestos on highways specialist MPC Northern in 2013 and expanding its services to specialise in hazardous material remediation offering ground investigations, contaminated land remediation, underground service identification and asbestos remediation in structures.

Ross added: “The new location is perfectly situated to help us expand both our team and our range of services. It will be a great new asset for our business, enabling us to achieve our current and future growth plans.”
