Latest Manchester City signing targets Asia fanbase

Manchester City have signed a new deal with live fantasy sport app Ballr.

The agreement, which will make the firm MCFC’s official club partner across China, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand, will kick off ahead of the launch of Ballr Football next month.

Ballr is a digital platform giving fans the opportunity to connect, compete and communicate in real time during sporting events.

Ballr Football will be a Premier League-focused version of the company’s core app.

The senior VP of partnerships at MCFC owner City Football Group, Damian Willoughby, is looking forward to developing the club’s relationship with Ballr.

He commented: “Our new partnership with Ballr is an exciting opportunity to engage with Manchester City fans in the digital sphere and to offer them further opportunities to connect with the club.

“Manchester City is committed to enhancing the fan experience and bringing supporters together.”

Damian added: “Ballr shares these values with us and we look forward to building this partnership together.”
