Lilquest Asbestos Management has completed a move to new headquarters in Barnsley with support from NatWest.
Established in 1989, Lilquest Asbestos Management provides asbestos removal and remediation projects for customers throughout the UK.
All projects are undertaken in accordance with current relevant UK Legislation, asbestos regulations and HSE Approved Codes of Practice.
Following the appointment of Lee Hodgkins as director, Lilquest Asbestos Management has seen a growth period which has resulted in an increase in staff numbers to 40.
Therefore, Lee and the management team took the decision relocate from a leased premises in Sheffield to the the unit in Dodworth, Barnsley.
The company also has an office in Stevenage.
Lee said: “As Lilquest Asbestos Management has grown over the past year, we found ourselves in a position where purchasing our own unit would support our long-term business plan.
“The new premises have more storage and we also need the space for our new staff and IT systems. The move will also for us to expand further in the future.”
To obtain funding to support the purchase, Lee turned to NatWest. Paul McCarron , NatWest relationship manager, secured a six-figure loan to support the move.
Lee said: “Paul was very good to work with and has worked incredibly hard to help us secure the new building.”
Paul added: “Lilquest Asbestos Management continues to go from strength to strength under the leadership of Lee and the management team.
“We were delighted to support the purchase of the new premises and wish the business every success for the future.”
