London startup Jinn is delivering on-demand pumpkins for Halloween
Couriers for one of the capital’s on-demand delivery startups will soon be ferrying decidedly more ghoulish deliveries to their usual sushi lunches and late-night Byron hamburgers this Halloween.
London-headquartered Jinn is launching its limited edition pumpkin carvery delivery, allowing Londoners to have professionally carved pumpkins delivered straight to their door in under an hour.
Launching from 26 October, the service, which is billed as a UK first, sees the on-demand courier service teaming up with Fulham-based Lavender Garden Flowers and art studio Sand in Your Eye, with packages starting from £40.
Mario Navarro, Chief Executive Officer of Jinn, commented: “Jinn offers users access to the best of their city in under an hour and this Halloween we are showcasing the diversity of our service with the carved pumpkin offering, available to order on our app.
“As a nation, we are steadily spending more over festive periods, so this year we are enabling customers to be the beastliest on their block.”
Jinn, which raised £5.7m as part of its Series A round, recently launched its first service on the continent with the opening of its Madrid office in July.
The firm said it was plotting a Series B investment round soon which it hoped would accelerate its global expansion plans.
