George F. White Promotes Operation Christmas Child
For the second year, the team at land, property and business consultancy George F. White have joined together to promote Operation Christmas Child. It’s a festive charitable campaign established by the Samaritan’s Purse which aims to make a big impact on the lives of small children in underdeveloped, poverty stricken parts of the world by providing a shoe box full of much needed gifts. The appeal has seen Samaritan’s Purse deliver Christmas in a box to areas such Liberia, Romania and Uganda.
Talking about George F. White’s involvement, Jessica Tait said: “It’s great to be involved in such a great cause. The entire team, from the Scottish Borders down to North Lincolnshire, is really motivated and keen to provide as many shoeboxes as we can which is why we’re thrilled that our Alnwick office is a registered drop off point for Operation Christmas Child. All boxes are being collected on Thursday 10th November so we are urging everyone to get involved - not only George F. White staff but the wider public too. These shoe boxes really do make a big difference to children’s’ lives at a very special time of year.”
The team at the Alnwick office have shoe boxes that people are free to takeaway and fill with unwanted belongings. Alternatively, members of the public can drop off their own filled shoe boxes during office hours, before 10th November.
