Twenty-something professionals become youngest agency founders with new PR firm
Two PR professionals have forged out on their own to launch their own agency and in the process have become the UK’s youngest agency owners.
London-based P&C PR, founded by 21-year old Amelia-Eve Warden and senior Deloitte associate, Bethany Simpson, will focus on tech, media and social startups, with a particular emphasis on firms run by young entrepreneurs.
As a former Hotwire PR executive, Warden will be heading up the new firm’s creative team, drawing on her experience working with big international clients such as GoPro, Qualcomm and Capital One.
Simpson, meanwhile, will take charge of P&C’s business development, along with legal and finance matters after developing her expertise as part of Deloitte’s Risk and Regulatory services team.
Following the agency’s official launch, Warden said: “We started the agency in order to take on a new challenge.
“We are passionate about young adults getting the recognition and support they deserve, which is difficult in such a competitive industry, but with the right resources, financial-support and opportunities, we can ensure a brighter younger-leading industry is on the cards, by developing these newborn businesses into global companies.”
The firm has already lined up work with PR and media consultancy business HaiMediaGroup, and international social media group Meal Deal Talk, and is now seeking new clients within the UK’s creative and digital sectors.
Simpson believes that the two fledgling founders will be able to better serve millennial entrepreneurs and their target markets due to the fact that they themselves are part of the same demographic.
She said: “Giving young entrepreneurs and millennials the opportunity to work with young co-founders gives us the base of understanding their business to innovate them into the media space, and to meet their financial requests.”
