Mortgage startup Hey Habito takes space at The Loom

Property developers Helical have announced that two more firms have taken space at one of their newest office spaces in Whitechapel.

The Loom development, which opened in September following refurbishment work, has welcomed online mortgage broker Hey Habito and business consultant Twelve Fifty One Communications.

Both firms have agreed five year leases at the development, taking a total of 4,750 sq ft of space on the first and second floors, each at a rent of £52.50 psf.

Housed within a former Victorian wool warehouse, the Whitechapel development consists of 29,000 sq ft of refurbished space, along with a new entrance and reception area, an onsite cafe, showers and a bike store.

It has also been awarded the Wired Certified Gold certification in recognition of its digital connectivity and infrastructure standards.

Commenting on the latest letting, Tom Anderson, Senior Investment Executive at Helical hinted that the latest additions would not be the last signing up for the development.

He said: “Following an incredibly successful launch it is great to be welcoming two more businesses to The Loom, attracted by its high quality exciting space, strong location and outstanding connectivity.

“We have a number of discussions ongoing and are hopeful of announcing more new arrivals soon.”

It has been a successful few days for Helical after its C Space office scheme in Shoreditch also welcomed new lettings on Friday, bringing the building up to full capacity.
