Facebook Allowed Advertisers Messenge Users

Facebook Messenger announced the launch of sponsored messages - Sponsored Ads and other promotional opportunities for companies. Now the advertiser can add one link and one photo to the message and send it to users. This advertising is available to users of messenger application.

The Feature

This feature is now available to all the companies that use the Send / Receive Facebook API. The company advertiser can create ads through Power Editor or Marketing API.

The ads will be visible to users who have already started to interact with the brand. The payment will be charged from the advertisers per impression of the ads to the user at the Inbox folder of Facebook Messenger, it does not depend was the message open or not.

Besides, Facebook allowed advertisers to place ads in social networks, its Messenger account. This format is called News Feed Ads.

Advertisers are able to embed Messenger to their website. Thus, when the user will make and order or fill out the registration form, the company can invite him to subscribe to notifications in Facebook Messenger.

As was previously reported, Facebook started testing Sponsored Ads in its messenger in April 2016. Let’s recall that in August this year Facebook has updated Messenger Platform policies and allowed the bots to send promotional messages within 24 hours after the last contact with users.
