Barratt Homes’ strong sales highlight demand for housing
Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes, has announced strong sales following the launch of three new developments in the region. Barratt Developments, which includes Barratt Homes, announced plans to open seven new sites in 2017, with the first three of these having sold a quarter of the homes on release only two weeks after launching.
With numerous homes still to be released across Helme Ridge in Meltham, Ashmeade Park in Pontefract and St Oswald’s View in Methley, the available range of stylish two, three and four bedroom homes at the sites have already proved popular, with 25% already being snapped up by local house hunters.
Sam Wood, Sales Director at Barratt Homes Yorkshire West, said:
“Overall, our new developments have been well received and interest is high across all three sites. We’ve seen demand for new homes expand very quickly over the year and the new developments we are opening provide more choice for local buyers. It’s also great news for the local economy - in addition to the local construction jobs underpinned by building the new homes, people who move into the new housing will benefit from Section 106 contributions made by Barratt to the local area.”
Barratt Homes is building a selection of stylish homes developments across the region. For more information about Barratt Homes visit www.barratthomes.co.uk.
