Upmarket London lifestyle brands take new units at Centre:MK
A pair of London-based lifestyle brands have taken new units at Milton Keynes shopping centre centre:mk.
Fragrance company Molton Brown, has launched its first outlet at the shopping venue as part of the centre’s new Premium Quarter, having taken a 1,700 sq ft store at 9 Silbury Arcade.
Sitting close to retailers Jigsaw and Joules, the new store, which has been designed by an in-house team, will showcase the luxury brand’s range of bath and grooming products.
Meanwhile, London-based heritage brand, Hawes and Curtis, is to upsize its own presence at the shopping destination after taking a 1,800 sq ft unit on Silbury Arcade, with the clothing business’ new store opening next to T2 and The White Company.
Ed Sellick, who was representing centre:mk’s joint owners, Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper, said: “We are always looking to enhance our brands and provide an industry-leading retail offer and are pleased to welcome Molton Brown and Hawes and Curtis. The new brands complement our high-end fashion and lifestyle names.”
The co-owners of the site have recently completed a £10m refurbishment of the centre’s Sunset Walk to create the new premium brand-focused Premium Quarter, anchored by House of Fraser along with big-name brands such as L’Occitane and Pandora.
In the deals confirmed today, MMX Retail and CBRE acted for centre:mk, Reid Rose Gregory represented Molton Brown and Hawes and Curtis dealt direct.
