Evolution Funding launches finance initiative for leisure market
Evolution Funding, the UK’s leading motor finance intermediary, is launching its new Leisure and LCV division with an innovative point-of-sale finance initiative called AccessoryPlus.
Aimed specifically at the motorcycle, motorhome and caravan market, AccessoryPlus will see Evolution Funding offering an additional loan which the customer can then use to purchase accessories. This can be at point-of-sale or if the customer returns to the dealer in the future.
Chris Reid, Head of Leisure and LCV, explains: “We recognise that in the leisure and bike markets, accessory sales are crucial to our dealers’ overall profitability and customer retention.
“We wanted to find a way of giving both our dealers and their customers added value during their buying journey and an accessories loan has proven to be the best way.
“The beauty of this initiative is that AccessoryPlus sits separately to the HP agreement and so the customer has complete control over how they use the loan, whilst creating an opportunity for our dealers to sell more accessories.
“The whole process is quick and simple, giving the customer an alternative to using a credit card or personal savings. What’s more, the decision timescales are not delayed at all since they form part of the same application.”
Evolution Funding’s new Leisure and LCV division brings together a team of specialist account managers and underwriters who will support Evolution’s established network of 60-strong, UK-wide Account Managers.
