Trinity Leeds welcomes trio of new 'dynamic' dining offerings

Trinity Leeds is welcoming three new food and beverage brands to its lineup - Côte Brasserie, Comptoir Libanais and Jamaica Blue.

The three brands will provide Leeds city centre and Trinity Leeds’ customers with all-day dining options ranging from coffee to cocktails.

Côte Brasserie, the Parisian-style casual-dining experience, has chosen Trinity Leeds for its new 4,772 sq ft unit. Due to open in Summer 2017, Côte Brasserie will be strategically located on the first floor, overlooking Trinity Leeds’ atrium.

Trinity Leeds also houses international café and restaurant Jamaica Blue’s first northern flagship site. Jamaica Blue arrived from Australia in 2015 with only two other locations in the South East of England.

Jamaica Blue is a global brand with 134 restaurants worldwide, including New Zealand, UAE, Singapore and China. The brand’s newest café is positioned on the first floor of Leeds Trinity centre in a 2,280 sq ft unit.

Comptoir Libanais has chosen Trinity Leeds as its entry into the city’s cosmopolitan catchment. As the first in Leeds and second in the north, the healthy Lebanese dining concept also brings its branded Souk Shop connected to the restaurant, offering ingredients and gifts not available on the high street.

Signing Comptoir Libanais and its Souk Shop is located next to Trinity Leeds’ boutique cinema, Everyman, on the first floor of the centre.

Rob Jewell, portfolio director at Land Securities which owns the shopping destination, said: “By adding these three dynamic F&B brands to the scheme we continue to improve our leisure offering and tenant mix.

“We strive to give our customers the best possible all-round experience when visiting Trinity Leeds, adding a choice of foods and dining styles to complete the all day and breakfast offer coupled with great shopping - which is exactly what these brands will assist us in doing.”

Lisa Brook, general manager at Foodco UK – owners of Jamaica Blue - added: “Trinity Leeds was the natural choice for our flagship store in the North of England. Trinity’s reputation for bringing international brands to the UK and fostering their growth directly aligns with our UK expansion strategy.

“We’re looking to open in the leading centres across the country and Trinity ticks all the boxes with loyal customers, prime location and a prospering dominant city centre.”

Alex Scrimgeour, CEO at Côte Brasserie, commented: “Trinity Leeds is the perfect location to introduce Cote Brasserie. The restaurant we are opening within the centre is the perfect complement to our other stores within the portfolio as it sits in Leeds’ bustling city centre.

“The scheme has such a loyal catchment area and a diverse, strong tenant mix, which are key reasons we chose Trinity Leeds. We are looking forward to this next phase of Côte Brasserie.”

JLL and Shelley Sandzer acted for Land Securities. Jamaica Blue, Comptoir Libanais and Côte Brasserie represented themselves.
