£500,000 warehouse investment from CFC Interiors

Development prompts £2m stock clearance sale and the creation of 5 new jobs

LEADING independent furniture retailer CFC Interiors is set to open a new warehouse in Cookstown with a £500,000 investment as the business continues to grow.

The move will see a clearance sale with £2m of stock up for sale with £1m to be sold immediately from Easter Tuesday from their three stores in Cookstown, Newtownabbey and Campsie, Londonderry.

The expansion plans will see five new jobs added to the CFC Interiors warehouse team.

Managing Director of CFC Interiors, Norman Wilson said the business’ ongoing success and growth has seen them outgrow their existing premises.

“We are seeing more and more demand for our furniture and homeware goods,” he said. “The new warehouse premises means that we can continue to fulfil our commitment to excellent customer service with fast delivery and continual re-stocking of our stores.”

As a result, the retailer is launching a massive stock clearance sale to make sure the existing warehouse and stores can be ready for the expansion.

The sale will see £2m of stock massively discounted, with £1m needing to be cleared immediately when the doors open at 10am on Easter Tuesday in the three stores.

Leading brands such as Parker Knoll, Alstons, Denby and Waterford are among those in the sale with some items being discounted by 70%.

Norman said the business’ ongoing success and growth was a massive chance for customers to make real savings.

“We need to clear at least £1,000,000 of stock right away. Our staff are working around the clock at the moment marking down prices and transporting stock from the warehouses to our three retail premises.

“Every price has been greatly reduced and we are willing to take up to 70% less for some ranges in order to clear stock immediately.”

Ranges are being reduced to rock bottom prices to sell out the warehouse completely.

All Parker Knoll and Alstons floor model sofa’s are clearing off the floor. This includes best sellers and sofa’s which have just arrived on the floor for display.

Norman continued: “To give our customers an extra special offer, we will sell all of our suites from our two biggest upholstery suppliers; Parker Knoll and Alstons, this will also give us a chance to refresh every model and have the newest and best sofa showroom in Ireland and also the first customer to purchase will secure a suite at an amazing price.

“All of our suppliers have been very supportive with discounts for this event which means if the customer would prefer a brand new suite or a floor model, they are guaranteed a fantastic price. I would however, strongly advise that all customers visit early to ensure that they do not miss out on some of our genuine ‘one off only’ discounts.

“We are all very excited to build on a very successful 2016. When the Warehouse Relocation Sale concludes we will have the opportunity to stock and display the ranges that our buyers have been scouting from shows in Cologne, Singapore, Milan, Paris and in the UK & Ireland. With the increase in storage space this will allow us to decrease waiting times for customers, allowing for more new stock and exciting ranges to make 2017 more successful than 2016.”
