Condé Nast International invests in online experience with usability research platform UserZoom

Condé Nast International, the global media organisation behind the likes of Vogue, GQ and Wired, has underlined the importance of online user experience to its digital strategy by partnering with UserZoom.

UserZoom offers an all-in-one user experience research platform, enabling Condé Nast International to undertake widespread usability testing and ultimately improve reader experience across all of its online platforms.

UserZoom’s remote testing software will allow Condé Nast International to run a range of unmoderated research studies, evaluating how its various online channels are performing and identifying precise areas for enhancement. The platform is delivered via a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and enables remote recruitment of a wide range of ‘real-life’ testers, ensuring that it is both cost-effective and rapidly scalable.

Condé Nast International plans to deploy the UserZoom platform for a range of remote research projects, including surveys, as well as for rapid iterative prototype testing for new website designs and layouts. The platform enables organisations to test continuously throughout their development lifecycles, as well as supporting Agile methodologies and sprint cycles, allowing teams to prioritise key design changes ahead of online updates or new application launches.

GiGi Demming, International Head of UX at Condé Nast International said: “We chose UserZoom because of its variety and flexibility as a powerful remote research tool. It’s also a great survey solution. Moving forward we’ll be deploying UserZoom to carry out rapid iterative prototype testing. The fact that UserZoom allows us to do all that, and easily test with our own users, is the main reason we partnered with them.”

Jenna Smith, UserZoom EU Customer Success Manager, said: “Condé Nast International is a true media powerhouse, with a huge range of online customers in countries all over the world. Quite rightly, the organisation wants to ensure that those users have a reliably top-quality digital experience. Our platform is enterprise-grade, with multiple testing methodologies and recruitment options, which means it’s the perfect fit for a company on Condé Nast’s scale. We’re very excited to help them put online user experience at the heart of their growth strategy.”
