Benjamin Moore splashes colour onto Fulham Road with debut UK showroom

The Sloane Stanley Estate has today (October 26) revealed the opening of Benjamin Moore, an American designer paint brand, which has launched its first exclusive showroom in the UK at 263 Fulham Road, London.

The 1,300 sq ft flagship showroom stocks the brand’s range of premium quality paint from a vast colour palette of more than 3,500 shades. The store design has been carried out by Crucial Projects.

Benjamin Moore is North America’s leading paint, colour and coatings brand. Available in the UK since September 2015 online and through Shaw Paints Ltd, the brand has caught the attention of luxury retailers including Michael Kors and Coach.

Hannah Grievson, commercial property manager at Sloane Stanley, said: “The fact Benjamin Moore paint has been used in leading luxury retailers affirms the exceptional quality and finish of the product.

“Benjamin Moore’s brand has a real affinity with the character of the Sloane Stanley Estate and they will be a wonderful addition to our premium interiors and lifestyle offer.”

To coincide with the London launch, Benjamin Moore is holding an exclusive invitation-only event to high-profile interior designers in the area.

Helen Shaw, director of Shaw Paints, added: “For our first exclusive showroom in the UK, it was important we got the location just right.

“Set within one of the capital’s most iconic areas and with a rich heritage, Fulham Road is home to some of London’s best interior design shops and we cannot wait to be among this vivid retail community.”

This news follows the recent FIVE BOYS CLOTHING multi-brand pop-up, which took place on the King’s Road in September. In addition, Joe & The Juice will be opening another site on the Fulham Road in November.

Sloane Stanley is one of the oldest landowning estates in London. It owns and manages hundreds of residential and commercial properties on the King’s Road and Fulham Road.

Serving a catchment of over 8.5m people, the Estate has a Total Comparison Goods market potential of £555.5m. Dominated by premium, accessible brands that account for 74 per cent of the total offer - which is much higher than the benchmark average of 50 per cent - the area ranks in the top three per cent of 4,300 Retail Footprint ranked centres nationally.
