Yorkshire finance recruiter strengthens entry level division with appointment of new business director

Natalie Moyles is the latest recruitment professional to join Leeds-based Woodrow Mercer Finance, a joint venture between FDYL, the Yorkshire-based financial consultancy and recruitment specialist, and Birmingham-based recruiter Woodrow Mercer. Since the launch of the combined business 10 months ago, the team has doubled in size with Natalie’s appointment strengthening the consultancy’s new entry level and part qualified division.

Natalie joins from Page Personnel where she spent almost four years, most recently working as a senior business manager in the facility management sector and she also has experience recruiting for the property and construction sectors. Her roles included working as a managing consultant in temporary and permanent recruitment and she was responsible for setting up a new division in the North East for transactional and part qualified level positions. In addition, she spent five years in finance recruitment early in her career.

In her new role, Natalie will be focussing on transactional recruitment, working closely with Sara Clark to build Woodrow Mercer Finance’s newest division which specialises in the recruitment of entry level and part qualified finance staff nationally. Launched last February, it focuses on the search and selection of less senior administrative positions in transactional finance, suited to part and newly qualified candidates and recent graduates.

Natalie comments: “This is a great opportunity to work with one of the best known financial recruitment specialists in the North and to strengthen an exciting new division which extends Woodrow Mercer Finance’s offering with the recruitment of entry level finance personnel. I am really looking forward to being able to build on my experience and continue to learn by working with such a senior team.”

Woodrow Mercer Finance managing partner Neil Muffitt added: “Having started her career in finance recruitment, Natalie is going ‘back to her roots’ and will be a welcome boost to our entry level and part qualified recruitment team. I know that she is keen to get out into the market and make sure that SMEs in Yorkshire and beyond know that we can now provide recruitment support for transactional finance positions as well as for the more senior roles for which we are renowed.”

FDYL specialises in the search and selection of portfolio finance directors and financial controllers as well as full-time interims and permanent FDs and FCs. Last November, it joined forces with £12m turnover Birmingham-based Woodrow Mercer to launch its new senior financial recruitment division. With offices in Leeds, London and Birmingham, Woodrow Mercer recruits across diverse sectors focussing on Finance, Learning and Technology.
