Demand surge sees Liverpool tech company open offices in London and Europe
Tech company eviid is growing its team and expanding in Europe following a surge in demand for its services.
The Liverpool-based business has hired six new staff across its developer and support teams so far this year.
In addition to its rising headcount, eviid is expanding its geographical footprint with office openings in London and Lelystad, a city in the Netherlands.
The company reported securing 11 new clients and projects since August last year. The new work comes predominantly from the UK insurance and property sectors, but also the US, New Zealand and Australia.
eviid, the trading name of YRFree Technologies Ltd, is the creator of tamper-evident smartphone video technology. Its offering allows businesses to use live and recorded videos to connect with workers in the field, or help customers in submitting video evidence for insurance claims and other uses.
CEO John Ridd (pictured) said: “Over the past few months, demand has really taken off and we were delighted to receive some additional funding from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund in August, which allowed us to scale up rapidly.
“We already have a couple of international clients but now will accelerate our growth in Europe from our new office in the Netherlands.”
