Best Western Plus ‘Kenwoof’ Hall launches charity partnership with Support Dogs

Sheffield’s Best Western Plus Kenwood Hall Hotel & Spa became ‘Kenwoof’ Hall last week, as it announced a new charity partnership with national Sheffield-based charity, Support Dogs.

To start the Hotel’s new relationship with the charity, they recently handed over a cheque for £1,220 from their fundraising efforts, which included a charity raffle and hosting an afternoon tea for the charity during a local ‘Pounds for Pups’ campaign last year. Hotel general manager Becky Dyche has more fundraising planned throughout the rest of the year to support the assistance dog charity and said: “Support Dogs is such a worthwhile cause, and we were delighted to get involved.

The team at Kenwood Hall loves dogs! We operate a ‘dog friendly’ hotel, where dogs can bring their responsible owners to stay overnight, and then enjoy a walk together the following morning in the extensive grounds around the hotel.“

Becky Dyche, general manager, Best Western Plus Kenwood Hall Hotel & Spa added: “ I am only too happy to help out in any way that I can, and know that the funds raised will help to support the charity in achieving its goals of changing the lives of individuals who are partnered with a dog.“

Danny Anderson, fundraising manager for Support Dogs said: “We’re delighted that Kenwood Hall Hotel has become our new charity sponsor, and we look forward to working with them in the future. We rely entirely on the generosity of businesses and individuals to fund our life-changing dog-training programmes.”

Support Dogs provides and trains assistance dogs for children with autism and adults with epilepsy and physical disability, enabling them to lead safer, more independent lives. Visit, https://supportdogs.org.uk/
