Ashfield Building Group completes milestone ISO 9001 certification

Ashfield Building Group is celebrating a milestone development in support of its growth strategy following the completion of the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management certification.

Full certification for the International Standard BSEN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System will increase Ashfield’s competitive strength, streamline the procurement process and unlock access to new business from prospective clients that require ISO 9001 from all suppliers. The certification provides an assurance that Ashfield Building Group meets all necessary statutory and regulatory requirements through formally aligned processes which are applied and understood throughout the company.

Brendon Quinlan, Managing Director, commented on the successful certification:

“Full ISO 9001 certification is a huge achievement for a business of our size and it is fantastic reward for the efforts of our staff and management over the past year. For the past six months Ashfield Building Group has been operating in accordance with ISO 9001, right through to the completion of the audit this month. The certification demonstrates our commitment to safeguarding quality standards and compliance obligations. It has been achieved via Exova BM TRADA, a UKAS-accredited certification body, which carries a lot of weight when tendering for contracts, opening up a potentially huge growth market.

“As well as inspiring trust in the reliability of our systems, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certification is also a powerful business improvement tool which has reduced operational costs and waste whilst increasing our efficiency and ability to measure performance. Ashfield Building Group’s ISO 9001 certification was subject to Exova BM TRADA’s detailed audit of key management principles, including customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process and system approach to management, continual improvement, a factual approach to decision making and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
