Liverpool Executive Coach Shortlisted for ‘Diversity Champion of the Year’

The FL National Awards & Summit recognize and promote female talent in the UK

Denise Chilton of Denise Chilton Ltd has been shortlisted as a regional finalist in the Diversity Champion of the Year category of the Forward Ladies National Awards & Summit, now in its 9th year and supported by headline sponsor HSBC UK.

In what promises to be an impactful event, 51 female business changers across the North West, Wales and Ireland will compete across 11 categories in October. The Diversity Champion of the Year award is for women with a track record in mentoring and developing future female leaders in industry.

Denise Chilton said, “Coaching and mentoring is my calling and it is core to the person that I am. I love what I do and the rewards that my work gives me are enough but to have the impact of my coaching recognised is truly humbling.”

She continued, “Coaching helps to advance women’s careers by removing the barriers that prevent them from advancing in the same way that men do. Being shortlisted for this award is a reminder of just how important it is to support women in business to fulfil their potential. It gives credibility to coaching – and I hope it will encourage more women to invest in themselves.”

Denise Chilton, who is based in Avenue HQ on Liverpool’s waterfront, set up her own coaching business after leading a successful management career in financial services and has been providing executive coaching to female leaders across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors over the past decade. Last year, she celebrated her tenth year in business and published her first book.
