Leeds business district app launched
Leeds-based DS.Emotion has announced the launch of a new app to help grow the Leeds business community in and around Wellington Place.
The brand-new app will provide a hub for city dwellers and workers to enjoy discounted dining, drinks deals and community events.
A group of Leeds’ favourite independent drinking and dining establishments including Sociable Folk, Veeno and The Place, have signed up to offer rewards to the surrounding community. MEPC will also be offering surprise resident rewards exclusively to its customers, including free coffee, ice-cream and activities.
Utilising the best local talent and bolstering the area’s digital industries, the app has been designed by “place making”, marketing and branding agency DS.Emotion with support from app developers Tyrell, both of which are proud to form part of the growing tech sector in the Leeds City Region.
Dominique Simcox, Head of Customer Experience at MEPC Wellington Place, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to launch our brand-new app to the Wellington Place community. With so much going on in the development, we were keen for people to have access to everything in one place, ensuring they never miss out on the fantastic deals and events offered by our retailers. After many months of planning, it’s great to see our vision come to life and we can’t wait to see our customers taking advantage of all the fantastic perks on offer!”
Lawrence Alexander, Strategy & Innovation Director at DS.Emotion, added: “It’s great to work on this project with MEPC. We’re confident the app will make a positive difference to the Wellington Place residents and it’s exciting to see a commercial developer applying forward thinking technology to their community.”
