Leading Leisure Attraction Inflata Nation to Launch Two New Sites

LEADING leisure attraction Inflata Nation is to launch two new sites this summer, as it continues to expand rapidly across Britain.

The firm was the first to bring the concept of indoor inflatable theme parks to the UK when it opened an arena in Manchester in 2017.

Since that initial offering, there’s now Inflata Nation venues in Glasgow, Newcastle, Runcorn, Birmingham and Beverley.

And Inflata’s husband and wife co-founders Michelle and Matt Ball are also preparing to unveil two new West Midlands centres - in Telford, Shropshire, and West Bromwich.

Michelle, headquartered in Southport, Merseyside, says: “We are strongly represented in the north of England and in Scotland, and now we’re expanding rapidly in the Midlands.

“Each centre is slightly different in design, showing that Inflata Nation is constantly looking to evolve and entertain in new ways.

“We want to appeal to everyone, be it mums and dads bringing their kids, or adults who just want to let their hair down in a friendly and safe environment.”

While the precise launch dates are yet to be confirmed, it’s hoped they will go live by the beginning of August.

The West Bromwich site will be located at Astle Retail Park, off Cronehill Linksway.

Inflata’s Matt Ball adds: “We’ve got a huge amount of space to work with - around 30,000 square feet. That means we can cram the area with our trademark, wall-to-wall inflatables.

“And the West Bromwich site will also be a ‘super slide’ arena - featuring the most amount of inflatable slides out of any Inflata venue.”

The Telford site will be the first ever attraction of its type in Shropshire, and will be located at the Telford Centre.

Matt adds: “We’re pulling out all the stops to make Telford Inflata Nation different.

“It’s going to big a big park - bigger than the centres in Birmingham and West Bromwich.

“Telford will also feature inflatable bumper cars - electric buggies in their own unique ‘demolition’ arena. This is brand new for us a company.”

Both arenas will be looking to hire around 10 full and part time members of staff each - the details of which will also be announced soon.

Michelle and Matt first shot to fame in 2014 after opening a series of trampoline parks, called ‘Jump Nation’.

But in 2017 they switched from trampolines to the Inflata Nation format in a bid to negotiate what was becoming a crowded marketplace, and now also offer Inflata Nation franchise opportunities.

Michelle adds: “We think ten new locations for 2019 is a very realistic prospect as the market continues to expand - which is great news for anyone who’s been waiting for Inflata Nation to arrive at a venue near them, as we’re hoping to spread across the UK.

“And we’re also busy formalising what will be our first international franchise, with plans to expand into further international markets next year.”

If the rate of expansion is realised, Inflata Nation projects a turnover of more than £16million by the end of 2020.

Matt said: “We believe that Inflata Nation offers not only a unique experience for our customers but is also perfectly suited to an ambitious expansion strategy and is an attractive franchise opportunity.”
