The Marketing Centre Celebrates its 2nd Birthday in the East Midlands with Two New Appointments

In just two years, The Marketing Centre’s regional team in the East Midlands has grown significantly - fuelled by the demand of local SME’s seeking to fulfil their potential through effective marketing. The organisation is marking its anniversary with the appointment of two new marketing directors, Tony Galloni and Lindsay Ball.

Pioneering the concept of part-time marketing directors, The Marketing Centre was founded in response to the increasing number of SME’s looking to invest in marketing, but who are unable to budget for the creation of a full-time position. Led by Rob Croxall, the East Midlands team is focused on giving business owners a wealth of strategic marketing talent, delivering real returns and supporting sales.

Tony is an experienced Marketing Director with a strong ability to identify gaps and opportunities and implement proven marketing and sales solutions. In a 30-year career, he has helped both B2B and B2C organisations in a variety of industries meet and exceed their goals. He is an extremely focused, driven and results-oriented marketing leader with strengths ranging from relationship building, to product/service development, digital marketing, and acquisition and retention.

Lindsay is an experienced Marketing Director and Interim whose career has spanned corporates such as Domino’s, Greggs, Care IVF and Healthcare at Home, through to supporting SMEs like PolycoHealthline and Sustain in their next phase of growth. She has a passion for driving brand purpose into an entire business culture to deliver first class customer experiences in return for customer advocacy. Her strategic rigour and energy have identified ‘quick-wins’ and competitive advantage for a host of private equity businesses seeking quick results. Her entrepreneurial flair has also led to the successful build and sale of two personal businesses in ecommerce Boutique Travel and Dog grooming!

Rob comments: “Lots of businesses in the region face the challenge of generating quality sales leads. Often small businesses find it hard to budget or see the value of marketing when sales are traditionally the most visible method to measurably drive the bottom line. We are fully focused on providing marketing services with measurable ROI, feeding into and working with sales teams to drive business sales and growth.

“The huge demand we are seeing for our marketing services shows how this perspective is changing and this growth is testament to the fantastic entrepreneurial and business spirit there is in our region.”
