Leeds agency marks office move with senior growth appointment

A digital marketing agency is celebrating a duo of milestones, following a major relocation and the appointment of a chief digital growth officer.

Edit, part of Kin + Carta, has moved to No. 1 Whitehall Riverside, taking 7,500 sq ft of space at the building which is adjacent to Leeds train station, offers riverside views and is home to a bespoke ‘Editorium’ event space.

Forming part of Edit’s digital growth plans for 2020, the move has been further highlighted by an expansion to Joel Spence’s role; having acted as chief growth officer since September 2019, Joel has now assumed leadership of the business, taking the role of chief digital and growth officer.

Based in Leeds, and with offices in Bath and London, Edit is known for its digital marketing expertise amongst household brands, with clients including Shell, Bank of Montreal and Vue Cinemas. The company is also seeing growth in the financial services, travel and leisure, retail and pharmaceutical industries.

Joel Spence said: “A great business location is all about talent and culture and Leeds has bags of both. Our new office is a fantastic networking space with an Editorium available for workshops and events.

“The central location will enable clients to join us for events and talks, whilst bringing us closer to Leeds’s thriving digital marketing community.

“It’s a great honour to be invited to lead the digital business within Edit as well as growth for the wider business. It’s a life-long ambition and one that I am truly excited and energised by.

“Our focus in 2020 is to continue to deliver incredible commercial results and great brand building work for our clients, to build great new relationships with ambitious, growth-focused businesses, and to innovate our products to drive new value and improve operational effectiveness.”
