Fuelling growth – digital agency wins two new clients with six figure briefs
Digital agency Perfect Storm is celebrating winning two major new pieces of business in the last quarter.
The Leeds-based agency has been appointed by Retirement Villages Group, following a competitive pitch against London and Manchester agencies. The sizeable six-figure account will see Perfect Storm develop a digital strategy, new website, SEO, social media and paid media, as part of a wider growth and repositioning exercise by Retirement Villages Group. The group has a number of retirement villages in the UK already, with some ambitious expansion plans for the next 10 years. Residents are able to live independently in a home they can own, part own or rent, but enjoy communal facilities such as restaurants, libraries, lounges, pools and exercise areas, along with support from dedicated staff.
Perfect Storm has also been appointed to deliver a six figure brief by Coryton Advanced Fuels which will initially see them help with brand development and a new website. Coryton is an expert in formulating and blending specialist performance fuels for companies in the motoring, aerospace and additives industries. It produces around 10 million litres of specialist fuels a year.
Perfect Storm is currently looking to recruit two new digital producers to help bolster the team.
Adam Errington, who founded Perfect Storm with Dave Nutter, said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded these substantial briefs from both of these amazing companies and we’re very much enjoying working together. Our appointment is testament to how hard the team have been working these last few months. The way our agency model is set up, hand-picking the right talent from our trusted and highly skilled network of freelancers for every project, it has been easy to continue working as normal in lockdown. We’re very used to using technology to help us all stay connected and creative as a team!
“Retirement Villages Group is a really interesting brief as the company has ambitious growth plans and a clear view of what it wants to achieve and deliver for its customers across the UK. Coryton is a true innovator with sustainability at its heart and an expertise that is second to none. It’s an exciting time to be coming on board with both brands and we very much look forward to working together.”
Andrew Willson, CEO of Coryton, said: ’‘We chose Perfect Storm based on reputation within my network of contacts and the strong pitch they put together. They have not disappointed, presenting innovative ideas and high quality designs that more than deliver the brief - on time, on budget and output that has left us feeling we have obtained exceptional added value.’’
Perfect Storm launched in 2016 with the aim of disrupting the traditional agency set up with an emphasis on talent, trust and scalability. It has an in-house team of digital producers and directors and works with a network of specialist partners to assist with specific briefs.
