Yorkshire based online children’s furniture retailer expands premises and team
Yorkshire based Room to Grow, the online children’s furniture retailer, has seen sales and orders “soar” and has now moved its base to larger premises.
The business, which began as a single store in Ilkley, now entirely online, will now operate its Head Office from a site in Shipley that will allow it to grow its team even further.
Said team has already grown from one to 10 in the past 12 months as the customer base grew in parallel.
The move allows RTG to develop the customer service team, in-house specific marketing activities and expand the buying team dealing with factories globally.

Anne Davies, owner and managing director of Room to Grow, said: “Like so many other businesses we had no idea how we would fare throughout the pandemic. We’ve been very fortunate and seen sales and orders soar as parents used lockdown as an opportunity to revamp their children’s rooms.
“Thanks to the hard work of my team we’ve seen growth across the board that’s allowed us to expand into new markets and increase product ranges which means we need more room ourselves!
“The new space offers us the chance to bring more people and more products into the Room to Grow business and at the same time ensure the hardworking team have a great base to work from.”
