Local business celebrates 10 years with quacking charity walk!

Colonel Duck, a Harborne-based Software and Creative Agency are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a 10-mile walk dressed as ducks to raise money for three local charities.

Established in 2012 as a Video Production company, by a then 20-year-old James Adie, Colonel Duck has since grown into an award-winning agency offering software and digital content solutions to a range of clients within the construction, professional services and charity sectors.

To mark their 10th year of business, Colonel Duck are giving back to their community by completing a fundraising walk for three Birmingham-based charities. The three charities are Acorns Children’s Hospice, Bethel Health and Healing Network and St Basils.

On 1st March, the Colonel Duck team will walk 10 miles dressed as ducks. The route will take the team around Birmingham, stopping at each charity along the way.

Founding Director, James Adie said

“For me, the last 10 years have proved that if you genuinely care about what it is you’re trying to do, you will succeed. We have been fortunate enough to collaborate with, innovate for and serve some amazing people, charities and organisations. Together, through care and perseverance, we have been able to achieve outcomes that we are all proud of.

What better way to mark Colonel Duck’s 10-year milestone than to do something worth caring about, for the community right on our doorstep. Colonel Duck’s involvement within the charity sector has taught me that the work of charities is not simply important; it is vital. Charities make up a backbone of our society, which would simply fail to function without their astonishing and tireless contribution. This couldn’t be more true of the three exceptional, local charities that we will be raising money for on our 10-mile walk.“
