Newcastle property auctioneer continues recruitment drive, reaching 300 employees
Property auctioneer iamproperty Group, based in Gosforth, Newcastle, has taken on more than 85 new recruits in the last 14 months, including 15 new starters in January and February this year, reaching the milestone of 300 teammates nationwide.
Working with more than 3,500 Partner Agents across the UK, the growth of the iamproperty Partner Network has been driven by the continued market boom and high levels of consumer and agent demand for auction and the company’s onboarding and sales progression platform, movebutler platform.
With more agents looking at ways to introduce new services and technology solutions to improve their cash flow and improve the buying and selling experience for their customers, the demand for iamproperty services has continued to grow at pace over the last year.
During this period of growth, the raft of hires made across the business have been invited to take part in iamproperty’s various bespoke learning and development opportunities, including the Associate Auction Specialist Training Programme.
Ben Ridgway, managing director at iamproperty Group, said: “We were so pleased to have welcomed new recruits and grown the team to over 300 talented people in this last year. It’s exciting to see new people joining us every week, each bringing with them different skills and experiences who add huge value to the businesses.
“The best thing about running a fast-paced business is absolutely our people. We’ve always been really focused on building a great culture, and no matter how big the business gets that will always be front and centre. We have grown a lot in the last year, brought in a lot of new people from across the UK.”
Jamie Cooke, managing director of the auction service iamsold, added: “We want to keep making changes in the property industry and to do that we need to keep attracting the best talent out there.
“We’ve spent a lot of time this year reviewing our benefits and learning and development programmes to make sure we’re continuing to make the best working environment we can. We’ve introduced hybrid working and remote working as a permanent fixture and brought in some innovations around how that works for our team too.”
