alan. agency goes on top-level hiring spree

Michael Richards former Unlimited, VCCP and Grey Leader is new Managing Director Daniele Pulega, Creative Director McCann Group Worldwide to Join as Creative Director Leadership team strengthened to support ambitious relaunch growth plans

Global b2b marketing agency alan. has announced digital & consumer agency veteran Michael Richards as its new managing director as part of a top-level hiring spree to support ambitious relaunch growth plans.

His appointment comes as alan. agency, part of the Raconteur Group, looks to triple its size in the next three years.

Richards has a long and storied career in helping both independent and networked advertising and digital agencies grow. Having started his career at Ogilvy and then Saatchi, he moved to Grey to run their global P&G, Mars & GSK accounts, as well as being European Group CMO. He built his own top 25 agency, WFCA, which he sold to Porta plc before joining VCCP as international MD and then Unlimited as CEO. He joins alan. from digital agency Feed where, as Group Chief Growth Officer, he helped develop the business for its recent sale to Dept.

Richards said: “I came across alan. agency when I was looking at M&A targets at Feed, and I liked them so much I joined the company!

Also announced is Daniele Pulega, who is appointed as Creative Director at alan. agency and joins from his role as Creative Director at McCann Group Worldwide. He will report into Chief Creative Officer Benedict Buckland and his role will be to expand alan’s conceptual creative offering for its growing client list.
