London's Chelsea Barracks announce new commercial partners

This year, residents and the greater Belgravia community will welcome the addition of a new restaurant concept and high-end retailer in Chelsea Barracks’ Garrison Square.

The Campaner, a new restaurant from Barcelona operators of the much revered Martinez restaurant, will occupy the purpose-built space created by architect Ben Pentreath, and iconic British jeweller Theo Fennell will establish his headquarters within the retail space on the opposite side of the square.

Tariq al Abdula, chief development and project delivery officer at Chelsea Barracks, “we are delighted to welcome Theo Fennell to Chelsea Barracks and reveal the new restaurant concept, The Campaner, this year.

“Theo Fennell’s dedication to bespoke craftsmanship is synonymous with our own ethos and design; something we have supported both internally and externally throughout the development, and The Campaner’s celebration of Barcelona’s highly regarded gastronomy will bring an exciting new offering to Belgravia.”

Iconic British jeweller Theo Fennell is delighted to announce that they will be moving from 169 Fulham Road to a sensational new flagship gallery at Chelsea Barracks in Belgravia, London. This will open its doors in May 2022, and house Fennell’s creative team and provide a salon for their bespoke designs as well as a showroom for their latest work.

Theo added, “Chelsea Barracks has a commitment to detail, design and craftsmanship that resonates with us as well as an ambition to be part of the local family of creative businesses. We’re all looking forward to the move and a chance to be in at the start of a fast-revitalising community”

A large wrap-around terrace will be available for al fresco dining, whilst the main restaurant will feature floor to ceiling crittall windows, flooding the space with natural light.

Spanning a 12.8 acre site, the Chelsea Barracks community sits within a traditional Belgravia garden square setting and offers an unprecedented five acres of publically accessible Central London green space. This unrivalled setting provides one of the most unique super-prime offerings in London, placing craftsmanship and sustainability at its core.

Richard Oakes, chief sales & marketing officer, Qatari Diar, “Following two years of impressive sales during a globally uncertain period, we have continued to build on our previous success - having secured in excess of £100m sales this year.

“These achievements are testament to Chelsea Barracks’ core offerings – prioritising sustainability, British craftsmanship and excellent design. It is these values and the ongoing sales success that will continue to drive us this year as Chelsea Barracks becomes cemented as a destination through the Theo Fennell and The Campaner concepts coming soon.”
