What’s Possible Group appoints Patrick Mazzotta as Managing Director of Data

What’s Possible Group, the only harmonious marketing group for dynamic growth brands, has announced Patrick Mazzotta’s appointment as the newly created Managing Director of Data. His remit is to build a mould-breaking data, analytics and insight centre of excellence sitting at the heart of the What’s Possible Group.

Mazzotta has extensive experience working in data roles in both UK and North American agencies. He joins What’s Possible Group from WPP, where he was most recently Vice President of Analytics for EMEA at Essence. Mazzotta has also led marketing science and data functions for other WPP agencies in North America, including POSSIBLE (creative agency based in Seattle), Wunderman Thompson (Toronto) and Essence (London).

In this new role, Mazzotta will lead What’s Possible Group’s data and intelligence proposition, manage the growing team of analysts, scientists, location data specialists and researchers, and continue to develop and innovate data products. This will include ensuring every business and client team in the What’s Possible Group is supported by the data, analytics and insight service. In addition, Mazzotta will oversee the commercialisation of data and intelligence products and services and identify new opportunities to create value for clients, including new cross-discipline offerings within the group.

Mazzotta will report to Karl Weaver, Chief Commercial Officer.

Commenting on his appointment, Patrick Mazzotta said: “It’s not often that you get the chance to take on an entirely new role like this, so after a long career in data and intelligence, across several businesses and countries, I jumped at the chance to build a centre of excellence at What’s Possible Group. It will be a brilliant challenge, and I am eager to lead the company’s commercial growth and data products at a time when they can offer such benefits to our clients.”

Karl Weaver, Chief Commercial Officer, added: “Patrick has the perfect balance of technical skills and commercial capability and is a great people-person and collaborator. He’ll be a huge asset for What’s Possible Group. I look forward to working closely with him as we extend our data and intelligence expertise to drive growth for our clients ultimately.”
