This week’s round up of National appointments includes Unity Homes and Enterprise, Hexa Consulting and Cambridge & Counties Bank. Read on to find out more.

Temo Elbakidze, Unity Homes and Enterprise

Temo Elbakidze has joined Unity Homes and Enterprise as Housing Services Manager. He will have lead responsibility for delivering an outstanding customer experience for tenants living in more than 1,300 properties owned and managed by the BME housing association in Leeds and Kirklees.

Mr Elbakidze, who will report to Interim Director of Operations David Higgins, was previously Area Operations Manager at Horizon Care and Education, having held senior management roles at Leeds Housing Concern and Great Places Housing Group.

Chloe Whitnell, Gethin Jones and Ricardo Vendone , Hexa Consulting

DYNAMIC engineering firm Hexa Consulting has welcomed three new starters, as it continues to expand the team and bolster its rapid and strategic growth.

Chloe Whitnell, Gethin Jones and Ricardo Vendone all bring fresh experience into the business across their respective specialisms to deliver on clients’ objectives across a range of sectors.

Gethin said, “I’m pleased to be joining the senior design team at Hexa, putting me in an environment where I can learn from those around me and continue developing my skills. I’ve jumped straight in and had the chance to look at some small industrial sites and a new leisure centre with Hexa, which have both been a fun challenge to design.”

Another senior appointment sees Ricardo Vendone joining as a senior engineer.He said, “I was drawn to Hexa because of its great community of people, and I am looking forward to resuming my work on the design side.”

Finally, kickstarting her career, Chloe Whitnell joins as a graduate transport planner, having completed a degree in geography in 2021 followed by a graduate program with DHL Aviation. She said: “When I met with the team at Hexa, I felt they could offer me the expertise and support to help me in my goals of becoming a transport planner.

Glen Christie-MacAllan, Cambridge & Counties Bank

Specialist lender Cambridge & Counties Bank has appointed Glen Christie-MacAllan to the role of Head of Asset Finance. Glen replaces Simon Hilyer, who is moving to a new role within the bank developing its broker-based offering.

Glen has extensive experience in the asset finance sector, having worked in the market for over 20 years. Prior to joining Cambridge & Counties Bank, he was director of intermediary business at Shawbrook Bank, where he had worked for seven years. He has also held senior roles at Aldermore and Hitachi Capital, among others.

Cambridge & Counties Bank saw strong demand for its asset finance and classic car loans in FY2021, with demand continuing in 2022. Asset finance lending rose 29 per cent last year while finance for the purchase of classic cars and sports vehicles using hire purchase and finance lease products increased 33 per cent.
