Fleur Restaurant Prepare For The Festive Season With New Winter Menu
Fleur restaurant have launched their new Winter menu with press and local celebrities attending the restaurant to sample a special five course tasting menu.
The menu, which showcased the best of Fleurs’ new seasonal offering, saw a selection of showstopping brunch, dinner and dessert dishes served.
Stand out dishes included their signature pink cheese samosa, flavoursome Kerala spiced Salmon and their most popular brunch dish, French Toast.
This year marks Fleur’s fourth festive season in The Light Leeds and the team, led by Masterchef finalist and Great British Menu famed chef, Bobby Geetha , are pulling out all the stops to make it a special one.
Other Winter additions to the menu include Slow Braised Lamb Steak and Sirloin Steak but new winter warmers can also be found on the cocktail menu.
New cocktails such as the Baileys Delight, a sumptuous dessert cocktail with sweet vanilla cream, and the White Chocolate Manhattan, a smooth chocolate vermouth based drink, provide the perfect options for those looking to indulge with something special this winter.
The restaurant’s founder, Bobby Geetha, boasts experience at various fine dining restaurants around the world. From training at the three Michelin-starred Noma in Denmark to working in Dubai, where he was named United Arab Emirates’ Best Indian Chef in 2018.
This experience, combined with his Keralan heritage, is reflected in all of Fleurs’ menus.
He said, “Here at Fleur our aim is to bring something different to this city. I call upon my heritage and experience for a lot of the dishes here so we often take middle eastern spices and mix them with what is local. Because we love to champion local yorkshire produce, just with our own twist.”
Fleurs’ new winter menu can be enjoyed A La Carte, or as part of their set dinner offering. Priced at £19.95 for two courses or £24.95 for three, the carefully curated set menu showcases the very best of Fleur. You may even add on bottomless drinks packages which can include delights such as old fashioneds’, Moscow Mules, and Mango Coconut Martinis.
Diners can enjoy dishes such as Bang Bang Chicken Wings or Organic Scrambled Tofu Bao Buns to start, followed by tangy Chicken Jalfrezi or King Prawn Udon Noodles.
In signature Fleur style, the sweet treats here are the real showstoppers with options such as Saffron Milk Cake or Warm Chocolate Fondant taking centre stage.
Both the new Winter Dinner Menu and set menu are available from 5:30PM daily and can be booked online. With festive celebrations and parties aplenty over the next couple of months, Fleur remains one of Leeds go-to spots for a boozy bottomless brunch, or affordable fine dining offering, and from today guests can enjoy Fleurs’ signature menu with a winter twist.
