Save up to £386 per year by changing contact lens provider
Contact lens wearers can save up to £386 a year simply by changing brands.
Those that wear lenses every day would save £386 annually if they moved from CooperVision to daysoft.
Analysis of four of the top contact lens providers shows average annual savings of more than £220 by moving to the cheapest brand.
This equates to an annual saving of one year’s supply of contact lenses of more than 50 per cent.
All daysoft lenses are made at a single factory in Blantyre, Scotland.
As the cost-of-living bites people are looking for savings where they can find them.
Glasgow based daysoft lenses are available to buy online only.
daysoft introduced its flexible subscriptions service in autumn 2022 as part of the launch of its new website which gives customers the ability to easily adjust their ordering options.
The platform was rolled out after a three-year development process which aimed to make it as easy for daysoft customers to change or end a repeat order as it is to start one.
Ron Hamilton, daysoft founder, said:
“We know our customers are facing increased financial pressures and that is why we worked hard during the pandemic to streamline our processes to make sure we could reduce the price for our customers.
“Our direct-to-customer model means that we don’t have to pay the middlemen that are keeping costs unnecessarily higher for contact lens wearers. We are the only brand to do so.”
