Econsultancy Live announces 2023 speaker line-up and agenda

Econsultancy Live has launched the agenda for its first event of 2023, welcoming speakers from Marvel Entertainment, Hilton, and ITV Studios to the line-up.

Taking place on 27th April 2023 at Kings Place, Kings Cross in London, the event will see industry experts exploring the latest trends and best practices across ecommerce, customer experience, content and data. Guests will have the opportunity to attend talks from industry experts, including Marvel Entertainment’s Executive Director of Social Media, Adri Cowan, who will discuss how her team designs its social media content for its many different audiences.

The event is for marketers, digital and ecommerce practitioners to attend keynote speeches, roundtable discussions and training masterclasses led by CMOs, Heads of Digital, and more. Brand speakers and delegates will debate the tech, strategy, skills, and structure needed for digital marketing and ecommerce success, as well as looking at the latest trends in the industry.

The initial speaker lineup includes:

  • Adri Cowan, Executive Director of Social Media, Marvel Entertainment
  • Claire Gibbs, Senior Media Strategy & Planning Manager EMEA, Hilton
  • Claire Hoang, Head of Social Marketing, ITV Studios
  • Rebecca Carter, Head of Social Media, Ogilvy Health UK
  • Jos Harrison, Global Head of Brand Experience & Design, Reckitt
  • With more to be announced!

Ben Davis, Analyst at Econsultancy said: “There is a lot of change in the digital world at the moment - from ecommerce growth back in the single digits, to shifting media budgets and measurement methodologies. Econsultancy Live is always a chance for our members to ask their peers what’s working, and to hear the challenges that marketers face today.”

The four content pillars of Econsultancy Live 2023 are:

  • CX & Design - Across industries, from retail to healthcare, an explosion of omnichannel experiences pose complex UX and design challenges. How are brands creating experiences that balance commercial value with customer centricity? Topics to include omnichannel experiences, personalisation and employee experience
  • **Content & Social **- Amidst lots of exciting innovation - from generative AI to forthcoming AR hardware to short-form video and the overlap of entertainment and commerce - marketers are still grappling with managing content at scale. Whether in CRM, advertising or across digital products, find out how brands are engaging their audiences. Topics to include dynamic content, short-form video and creators, and social commerce
  • Data & Measurement - Changes to privacy and tracking frameworks have arguably been the biggest disruptor in tech in recent years. With short-term measurement of ROI becoming more opaque in some channels, and against a backdrop of budget cuts, marketers need to ensure they are activating their data effectively. Topics to include customer insight, first party data strategy, and CRM activation
  • Ecom Strategy & Optimisation - In 2023, ecommerce could be set to once again grow faster than bricks and mortar. But how can brands beat the competition online, maintain their margins and drive lifetime value? Topics to include merchandising and conversion, the digital shelf and retail media

Econsultancy Live is available to attend for free for Econsultancy members, and non-members are also able to register.
