Avanade names new UK and Ireland boss
Leading Microsoft solutions provider Avanade has appointed Paula Panarra as general manager for the UK and Ireland, effective 1 December 2024.
Paula will drive Avanade's regional strategy, focusing on leveraging Microsoft innovations to help organisations achieve their full potential.
This appointment comes as the global Microsoft services market is projected to grow significantly, driven by advancements in AI and technology.
With over 30 years of experience, including 15 years at Microsoft, Paula’s leadership will enhance Avanade’s efforts to deliver cutting-edge solutions and support its clients' digital transformation journeys.
She holds a degree in chemistry and biotechnology from Instituto Superior Técnico de Lisboa and began her career at Procter & Gamble, where she spent over 15 years in leadership positions. In recognition of her contributions to engineering, she was honoured with the Maria de Lurdes Pintassilgo Prize in 2019, celebrating her role as a trailblazer for women in the field.
