Cumbria PR agency expands ahead of anniversary
Cumbria-based PR and marketing agency Platinum Live has strengthened its team with two key appointments as it approaches its fifth anniversary in March.
Marie Jedlickova joins the social media and digital team, bringing expertise in content creation and influencer marketing, having worked with brands such as Steve Madden, PrettyLittleThing and VEVO.
Originally from the Czech Republic, Marie has built an engaged online audience of over 40,000 followers.
Kerry Hyslop takes on a commercial and finance role, supporting founder Oliver Hodgson in managing sales, customer relationships and financial operations.
With over a decade of experience in senior finance and growth positions, she will help drive the firm’s continued success.
Founded during the 2020 lockdown, Platinum Live has grown from a home-based business into a thriving agency working with high-profile clients across PR, social media marketing and media management.
Founder and managing director Oliver Hodgson said: “In these last five years, we’ve worked with some truly innovative and talented businesses and individuals.
“I’m grateful for those who continue to trust us and our supportive network of associates and partners who’ve enabled us to have a terrific five years.
“A highlight is always going to be working with Gary McKee on his 365 marathon challenge, getting his story out to a worldwide audience, reaching millions of people and seeing the smile on his face when he reached that magic £1 million in fundraising.
“We’re Cumbrian-born and bred. I always remind the team of what it looked like in the early days when I was just working from home.
“Many of our day-one clients are still with us: an accountancy practice and a home-care provider.
“We’re proud to be from Cumbria and are always keen to hear from fellow local businesses.”
