Technology firm boosts presence with office move
A global technology firm has strengthened its Yorkshire presence with an office switch.
Arrow Electronics has moved into a 7,000sq ft base in Harrogate’s Central House.
The cloud and artificial intelligence firm has agreed a ten-year lease on a first-floor site.
The switch follows property and investment company CEG’s £4 million makeover of Central House, which has created new breakout spaces, meeting rooms, a café and courtyard.
Grace Lewis, CEG investment manager, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome the Arrow team to the Central House business community.
“Following the refurbishment of the building, we have created a thriving business destination with innovative, contemporary space designed to encourage collaboration and productivity.”
Nick Gibby, from agent JLL, which co-markets Central House, said: “This is one of the most desirable office buildings in Harrogate.
“The quality of the tenants we attract, such as global firm Arrow Electronics, is testament to that.”
Real estate consultancy Knight Frank acted for Arrow Electronics on the move.
Victoria Harris, Knight Frank associate, added: “As a global leader in technology solutions, Arrow required a modern, well-connected environment to support its continued growth and innovation.
“Central House’s prime location, outstanding amenities and sustainability credentials made it an ideal choice.”
