Abode appoints apprentice marketing assistant
Barnsley-based Abode, the award-winning designer and distributor of market-leading kitchen and bathroom products, has welcomed Harriet Thorpe as its new apprentice marketing assistant.
Harriet will play a key role in supporting the company’s growing marketing needs, contributing to the development of a multi-channel strategy as Abode continues to expand its product range and retail network across the UK.
Working alongside the marketing team, Harriet will gain valuable skills while helping deliver marketing services to Abode’s customers.
She will collaborate closely with Leanne Stansfield, marketing manager; Mercedes Jones, digital marketing manager; and Sorcha Baker, product marketing executive.
Harriet said: “Abode is a business, which has always been local to me and so getting the opportunity to learn from the best, is a real privilege.
“I have always been interested in the creative side to branding, especially when businesses go above and beyond the idea of ‘basic visuals’, just like Abode.
“Fostering a greater connection between the business and consumers is therefore top priority, and I look forward to generating ideas that help to acquire, retain and grow our portfolio of customers.”
Leanne Stansfield, marketing manager at Abode, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Harriet to the team, already proving herself to be a valuable addition having received high praise from colleagues across the business in account of her work ethic, commitment and eagerness to learn.
“As we continue to rollout new customer support initiatives, Harriet will be key in making sure we can effectively support the needs of our customers with continuous improvement and enhanced accessibility over time.”
