Host Student Housing appoints marketing director
Host Student Housing Ltd, a leading UK operator of purpose-built student accommodation, has appointed Lucy Treasure-Broughton as marketing director, completing its executive leadership team following a two-year strategic restructure.
Lucy joins from Fresh with over seven years’ experience delivering multi-channel B2B and B2C campaigns across more than 60 assets in the UK and Ireland, spanning PBSA, build-to-rent and co-living sectors.
Her expertise in brand strategy, marketing optimisation and customer engagement will support Host’s plans to expand its portfolio and enhance service delivery.
In her role, Lucy will lead brand and marketing strategy to drive client value, boost investor confidence and improve the resident experience.
Lucy said: “Host is a business with real momentum – ambitious, values-led and focused on delivering more for its partners and residents.
“The opportunity to shape how the brand grows and connects across the student and co-living spaces is a challenge I’m excited to take on.
“With such a strong foundation already in place, I’m looking forward to building on that success and helping lead Host into its next phase of growth.”
Lucy’s appointment follows recent high-profile hires strengthening Host’s leadership, including Sam Hollex as director of operations, Rebecca Williams as business development director, Chris McIlhinney as commercial director, and Darren Prosser as head of IT.
John Nesbitt, Host’s managing director, added: “Lucy’s appointment marks the final piece in the leadership restructure we set out two years ago, and it comes at a pivotal time for Host.
“Her insight, creativity and sector knowledge will be key as we grow our platform, diversify our offer, and continue raising standards across the industry.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the impact she will make, especially as we prepare to launch our first Habito co-living site this summer.”
