Hull City seal extended deal with Turkish airline
Hull City has extended its partnership as the club’s official kit sponsors with Corendon Airlines for an additional two years.
The Turkey-based airline, which operates in and out of Newcastle, Manchester and London Gatwick airports, has agreed to maintain their profile on the first team shirts until the end of 2027, as well as continuing their substantial advertising presence throughout the club’s MKM Stadium, including ongoing sponsorship of the popular Raich Carter Lounge.
The deal comes in the week Hull owner Acun Ilicali, a prominent Turkish media personality, promised Tigers supporters the EFL Championship club is not for sale, following a dispute and transfer embargo with the Football League.
Fifteen Hull supporters and a guest are currently coming to the end of a week-long all-expenses break in Turkey, courtesy of Corendon, fellow principal partners Anex Tour and Ilicali, who chartered a flight from Humberside Airport to Istanbul last weekend.
Their trip, which includes a week’s stay at the five-star Selectum City Ataşehir hotel, a tour of Istanbul, plus access to training and two warm-up matches, is the fourth Ilicali and Antalya-headquartered Corendon have organised for Hull fans.
The Tigers owner said: “We're absolutely delighted our good friends at Corendon Airlines have chosen to extend their partnership with Hull City for another two years.
“Since joining our family in 2022, they have helped spread the word of Hull City across Türkiye and connected so many of our beautiful fans with my home country, making it possible for hundreds of supporters to travel and make memories following the club that we all love.
“Their unwavering support has been invaluable to our journey, and I couldn't be more proud and excited that they'll continue alongside us as we pursue our shared dreams in the years ahead.”
Corendon Airlines chairman of the board Yıldıray Karaer added: “This collaboration is an important step in Corendon Airlines' international brand journey.
“We are so proud to continue this strong partnership with belief in Acun Ilıcalı's vision and in the future of Hull City.”
