A property maintenance firm says it is “ready and geared up for its next growth chapter” after a £455,000 headquarters move.
Trustmark Roofing and Building has switched to a larger base in Gateshead.
Officials say the site – which replaces a rented Washington unit – will support the expansion of its domestic and commercial divisions.
The business, founded in 2017 by cousins Chris Dodds and Robert Findlay, completed the move with a Lloyds Bank loan.
Employing more than 60 people, the firm’s services include roof installations, repairs to existing structures, home extensions, loft conversions and window fitting.
It recently secured a local authority contract, which bosses say “will bolster its commercial pipeline”.
Chris, managing director, said: “Owning our own premises is a real turning point; it finally feels like we’re home.
“We’ve built this business from the ground up and are proud of how far we’ve come.
“With support from Lloyds, we’ve secured a space that reflects who we are and gives us room to operate at our full potential.”
Rosalind Hetherington, Lloyds Bank relationship manager, added: “Trustmark is a fantastic example of a business that’s scaled successfully while staying true to its roots.
“It’s great to see Chris and the team invest in a space that supports long-term growth.”
