Vertu appoints new Hyundai franchise director
Vertu has appointed Adam Rich as its new Hyundai franchise director, bringing leadership experience from across the group’s Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz divisions.
Adam joined Vertu in 2012 as a sales executive at its Darlington Nissan site, later progressing to sales manager and relocating to the South of England to oversee used car sales across five Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
He also completed Vertu’s Next Generation talent development programme, designed to prepare high-potential colleagues for senior leadership roles.
Adam said: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities Vertu has given me over the years.
“This new role is a huge honour, and I’m excited to lead the Hyundai division into its next chapter.
“I’ve worked with some brilliant people across the group, and I’m looking forward to building on that experience to deliver great results for our teams and customers.
“Hyundai is a brand with huge potential, and I’m committed to helping our colleagues and sites thrive as we continue to grow our presence in the market.”
Robert Forrester, chief executive of Vertu Motors plc, added: “Adam is a walking example of what you can achieve if you embody our values of passion, professionalism and commitment.
“His enthusiasm for the business is evident as soon as you meet him, and it’s fantastic to see home-grown talent stepping into a franchise director role; it’s what Vertu is all about.
“Adam has worked across multiple divisions, taken on tough challenges, and consistently delivered results – this appointment is richly deserved.
“I’m looking forward to seeing him flourish in his new role.”
